Count It All Joy!

Many of you can probably say along with us, "Wow! What a busy summer!" We went from a three day evangelistic youth rally called The Cola Wars, to a week at The Wilds Camp with the teens from our church, to our Vacation Bible School, to the ordination of my brother, Greg. Not to mention visiting numerous churches and a week of vacation with my whole family in Georgia. But as busy as these past months have been, the next 3 months appear even more so.
This becomes even more critical with the new year of school beginning in September. Traveling with 6 young kids is exciting enough, but the added stress of school for the oldest three, including 2 days a week in a local homeschool academy, can be very challenging. We would greatly appreciate your prayers for wisdom, strength, grace, and patience as we navigate the challenges of the coming months. Also, we would appreciate your prayers for wisdom with regard to a specialized language school in Texas we are considering. We want to know the Lord's will and timing about this additional language training. And one final prayer request: our van has served us well for several years, but during the past month it left us stranded beside the highway twice. Praise God that it is up and running again thanks to the honest and capable work of our generous mechanic, Lou Mielke, but would you pray for God's direction about purchasing a different vehicle. We are prayerfully considering a C class motorhome, but truly want to be wise stewards of the Lord's finances. Would you pray for us that we might know God's direction.
Praises:
3 professions of faith in the Cola Wars and VBS.
A faithful and knowledgeable Christian mechanic
A kind State Trooper (Trooper Cooper in VA.) who assisted us after our van broke down for the second time in 8 days.
Continued increase in support.

Thanks for posting! I pray that God would give you wisdom regarding the Texas school.

In regards to the busyness, I read this morning in John 7--Jesus is the bread of life. Feed on him throughout all of this and he will continue to give you REAL life!
